The Sunrise Era of Dyestuffs-(I)! Dyes discovered since 1860s.(In chronological order of Dyes discovery).

After Sir William Perkin discovered the 1st Synthetic Dye in the year 1856 Mauvine , led to Domino type discoveries of new dyes one after the another. New dyes were discovered every month somewhere in Britain, Germany, France. The companies were in race to announce their new discoveries of dyes.

The dyestuffs discovered between the year 1860s are listed below:

1860 Aniline Blue.

1861 Aniline Yellow.

1861 Malberry Blue.

1862 Soluble Blue. 

1862 Methyl Blue.

1862 Nicholson’s Blue.

1863 Hoffman’s Violet.

1863 Bismarck Brown.

1864 Martius yellow.
